Tokyo Disneyland

We took the kidos out to Disneyland recently.
This is the hardest working mommy in the world by the way:

I know this sounds rather crazy to say, but lining up for close to two hours to go to Mickey’s house really isn’t all that bad — actually it’s rather fun, when it’s you’re kids your taking. Then again considering your whole world essentially revolves around them, it makes sense that you end up living vicariously through them in a lot of ways. Which explains, for example, why the wifey goes out to by herself some new clothes and comes back with nothing but stuff for the princess. Or why in the few (almost nonexistent) moments we have without the kids in front of us, we end up just talking about them anyway.
It’s just our life now — but it certainly isn’t bad.
Disney should make a cartoon based on your cute ass family. Look Ren is so big now!!
“Which explains, for example, why the wifey goes out to by herself some new clothes and comes back with nothing but stuff for the princess.”
I can’t even fathom at the moment how life can turn that way but it’s so wonderful to hear about how people become parents and then CHOOSE to do stuff like that. Many like to joke around about how when you have children, your life is overrrr. (not very encouraging at all) So it’s great to hear that: “…in the few (almost nonexistent) moments we have without the kids in front of us, we end up just talking about them anyway.”
My mom was the exact same way.
I want to go to Disneyland in Tokyo too! My friend is going to Japan before we meet up in HK.. we are going to Korea though instead.

He’s huge — at 7 months he weighs much more than most one year olds. We asked the doctor if there is anything special we should be concerning him with given his current weight and she said “just make sure to give him a lot of food”

Well, it simply means you get more enjoyment out of making your kid happy than yourself, which I suppose may sound strange in a way, but once you have kids it’s natural.
And your life is of course in no way “over,” just very, very different. You’re living for someone else rather than yourself, which if you have never had kids before, sounds absolutely horrible probably (it did to me at least), but it isn’t at all.

Shame you’re not going to make it out this way but awesome about Korea! I still can’t believe I haven’t been yet considering I could probably take a weekend trip it’s so close. Of course then again that’s probably why we never end up going — because we can whenever.
As for Tokyo Disneyland — you might be disappointed to be honest. It is almost exactly like the Disneyland in the states — nothing special relating to the location.
Look at that family photo, it absolutely makes my heart melt. Princess’ grin makes my life.

Makes mine too
I want to go to Tokyo Disney! Why did I always think that Mickey Mouse wore a Kimono there? =/

They should do it that way
Then again I guess part of the appeal of disneyland (for the people that live here) is the “foreignness.”
