Games

I just started playing BioShock 2:

Really cool. I’ve only played a few minuets of it so far but it definitely gets points for originality. And creepiness.

It seems I have now developed quite a list of games I have started playing but haven’t found the time to finish, including:

Modern Warfare 2:

And Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Oh, and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

I haven’t also technically finished Super Mario Galaxy (even though I have won it), but damn that game is hard — I don’t think I’ll ever have the patience to collect all the different stars.

I also really want to dig into the two expansion packs for Half-Life 2 among other things but I figure I have more than enough on my plate at the moment. Who knows — maybe one of these days. That’s the hard part about getting old I guess. There is always something more pressing to cover and even forcefully making bits and pieces of time to play here and there, it still never really amounts to much.

As is life.

It looks amazing Scott! Have you seen previews for the Dante’s Inferno game? They came up side by side on the website I was on. I haven’t heard anything about it, but I want to check it out. Enjoy Bioshock 2!!

Good choices. You know what’s good! I played BioShock but I haven’t splurged on BioShock 2 yet. I’ll cave soon, though.

My husband played MW2 for a huge snippet of time.

I played Super Mario Galaxy at a friend’s house and it was so much fun!

Also, to add to the commenter above me, a few of my friends work at a GameStop and got to play the demo of Dante’s Inferno and they said it was AWESOME.

I saw the commercial of that game on tv and it piqued my interest. Though game wise I am really a Final Fantasy or JRPG person.

It’s nice to be back here. I am so sorry if havent been around since we just recently got internet in our new place.

Omg omg omg I want Bioshock 2 sooooo bad.

That trailer basically made me pass out, even though I’ve seen it before.

Yes I have, and it looks awesome! I’ve been stuck in a first-person shooter groove for quite some time now as well so it would be nice to jump out of it for a change.

I think Super Mario Galaxy is just down right fantastic. I had my doubts initially but it’s a hell of a lot of fun once you get into it.

I used to be rather hooked on FF as well. I lost a bit of interest after XII though just because I thought the angle they took it was a bit cheesy. I ended up stopping somewhere in the middle and just haven’t gone back (mainly due to lack of time). I’d love to try out some of the newer ones though.

I still haven’t made time to really play it! I really want to just sit down with the damn game for at least 30 min.

And I love the trailer as well. Yeah for creepy little girls!

XII was a bit cheesy indeed and I am still halfway thru the game, but I lost interest in finishing it. I am looking forward for FF XIII!

I still haven’t got a chance to dig into it so much but what I have played I really enjoyed. Really cool for a first person shooter.
